Payroll technical specifications: student loans

HMRC have published the technical specifications for payroll software developers in relation to the collection of student loans.
It can sometimes be useful to have a read of these specifications to give you some extra details about calculations being used.
The annual thresholds have been confirmed as:
Plan | Annual Threshold | Rate |
|---|---|---|
Plan 1 | £22,015 | 9% |
Plan 2 | £27,295 | 9% |
Plan 4 | £27,660 | 9% |
Post-graduate | £21,000 | 6% |
